Developments

On 01 June 2005 the DFA P wanted to start a new transmitter named NRW.TV with a program. The kind of sending had to be however shifted, there it problems with the national institute for media (LFM) in North Rhine-Westphalia gave. The cable system operator ish fed NRW.TV only in the time of 22:00 clock to 09:00 clock. In the autumn 2005 additionally the daily 60-Minuten-Sendung was started "good evening North-Rhine/Westphalia". In the remaining time the program of the Cologne Teleshoppingsenders RTL Shop ran. In December 2005 NRW.TV was recognized as country-wide transmitters in the sense of the national medium law ("must carry") of the LFM. Therefore according to to NRW.TV the act of administration the expansion of the program announced starting from February 2006 on 16 hours transmitting time. This date had to be meanwhile shifted several times. An official start is scheduled after solved cable place distribution of different transmitters for center of the yearly. In April 2006 weekly on Fridays the radiated cinema magazine "Sophie's cinema world" started with the host Sophie Keiser, daughter of the earlier NBC Europe boss Helmut Keiser.

In the coming weeks and/or months one wants to further remove the program with interactive elements. On Fridays:

• 17:30 clock: Sophie' s cinema world

In the remaining time Shop runs at the program place in the similar cable system derRTL.

The program from NRW.TV is to be received in the similar cable system from ish. In addition one plans the start of a liveStreams in the Internet. One had stopped the spreading over the satellite Eutelsat in the year 2005 some months after the end of tv.nrw.
