Norris McWhirter (* 12 August 1925; "† 19 April 2004) was a British publisher and joint founder of the famous reference book Guinness book of the records.

It created 1954 with its twin brother Ross McWhirter in the meantime the record encyclopedia spread world-wide. Its brother was killed 1975 with an Irish Republican Army notice. Norris McWhirter was until 1996 actively in the publishing house active.

It died at the age of 78 years with the tennis play at a cardiac infarct.
