Nikolaus Dumba (* 24. July 1830 in Vienna; "† 23. March 1900 in Budapest) was a Austrian Industrieller and liberal politician of Greek descent. It applied it an important and - for collecting tanks as well as promoters of the music life in Vienna.


Nikolaus Dumba was owner of the k. k. priv. Cotton yarn spinning mill in Tattendorf, Lower Austria. It gave in the year 1865 the today's palace to Dumba with the well-known Viennese architect duo Johann Romano of rings and August Schwendenwein of Lonauberg in the Viennese Neorenaissancestil in order. Later it became member of the federal state parliament and the realm advice. As of the music it practiced among other things also the office vice-president of the society of the music friends in Vienna. On 25 July 1890 he was appointed the honour citizen of Vienna.
