Nikolai Wladimirowitsch Skoblin (Russian * 1892 - kommandierte in the Russian civil war the Kornilow regiment of the white army. During the Kriegens it distinguished by its bravery, was notorious however also for its cruelty. Thus caught Red Army soldiers were hung by his men on the place.

In the autumn 1919 he took the gypsy singer and its later wife prisoner Nadeschda Wassiljewna Plewitzkaja in Kursk. After the end of the civil war it emigrierte over Bulgaria to France, where it could be enlisted in the year 1930 for the Soviet secret service. Besides it is to have worked as a double agent also for the Gestapo. Together with its wife it was considerably involved in the kidnappings in the exile into of Paris living tsarist generals of the Alexander Pawlowitsch Kutepow and Jewgeni Karlowitsch Miller into the Soviet Union. The latter meanwhile due to disappearing Kutepows suspicion had scooped and before its kidnapping a message deposited, from which, with whom he had arranged himself to the conspiratorial meeting, from which it followed did not return. Skoblin had thereupon in September 1937 from Paris to flee. Its further fate is unsettled. Skoblins woman was arrested because of disappearing Miller in Paris and condemned to 20 years detention under intensified conditions. She deceased 1941 in the prison.
