Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Duchonin (Russian ; *1876; "† 20 November 1917) was the last Commander-in-Chief of the tsarist army of Russia.

As a high-ranking officer it became after the tried of the general Lawr Kornilow in September 1917 in its place the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian army. There it the instruction of Lenin to stop the war actions against the Central Powers not consequence carried out, it on 20 November in the headquarters of the STAWKA in Mogilew of Rotgardisten under guidance of Nikolai Krylenko was murdered. Krylenko was determined of Lenin as a successor at the point of the armed forces.
