Nikita Demidow (* 1656; "† 1725), were a Russian Industrieller.

Was original it hammer-forge in Tula (Russia), to which during the war against Sweden (see large Nordi war) Peter large cannons and rifles supplied with. Under its line the Russian government in Newjansk in the district Jekaterinburg the first iron foundry in Siberia put on 1699, which administered Demidow with so much fate that the emperor ennobled him and gave him 1702 the whole iron foundry. By a lucky coincidence Demidow discovered 1725 in Siberia the mines of Kolyba, whose yield justified the immeasurable wealth of its family.
