Nihon Keidanren (jap. also Nippon Keidanren) is the most important Japanese trade association. It has a weighty voice at the Japanese government. Otherwise it is comparable of the importance with the Federal association of the German industry (BDI).

The Nihon Keidanren developed in May 2002 from the fusion of the Keidanren and the Nikkeiren. It has 1647 members. Among them 1329 enterprises (of it 93 foreign) are, 130 industrielle of federations and 47 employers' associations (conditions 21 June 2005).

At present the Nihon Keidanren is led by the Toyota Chairman Hiroshi Okuda. This is replaced in May 2006 from Fujio Mitarai, which is a president of Canon.
