The nature park Rhine country (until 12 December 2005 nature park Kottenforst Ville) lies between Rhine level and Erft west the large cities Cologne and Bonn in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Situation and natural-space arrangement

The nature park extends from northwest to southeast over well 60 km with width up to approximately 30 km, it is 1,045 km largely. Three districts lie to far parts in the nature park Kottenforst Ville.
