The nature park of upper Bavarian forest is at 1.738 km one of the largest nature parks in Bavaria.

Landscape

The nature park covers the entire area of the district Cham and the eastern part of the district swan village. In the northwest it borders on the nature park forest, in the east on Tschechien, in the south on the nature park Bavarian Wald.Die highest collections is the Osser (1,293 m), the high elbow (1,079 m), the Kaitersberg (1,133 m) and the large Arber (1,456 m). The portion of the forest amounts to today approx. 40 per cent. Approximately 740 hectares are proven in the nature park as protected area.

Spare time

For water friends there are many smaller seas. The run rain (river) is from Blaibach to Regensburg on 120 kilometers as if boat-move-strain furnished. A close network of moving ways and marked cycle tracks leads by the nature park. In the winter departure runways and Langlaufloipen are available.
