The nature park Nassau is round a nature park around the city Nassau. It lies in Rheini slate mountains, whereby the Lahn valley in east west direction forms the centerline of the nature park, to which also parts of the Westerwaldes, the central Rhine Valley and the Taunus belong. The largest collection forms the Montabaurer height with 546 m over NN.

The nature park was brought 1964 into being and extended 1979. It has a total area of 590 km whereby cities and municipalities are not taken into account.
