The nature park Kellerwald Edersee is a nature park in the cellar forest in North Hesse, Germany. It exists since 1 June 2001.

Its northern part belonged since 1 January 2004 to the national park Kellerwald Edersee and is more strongly protected thereby some more.

Geografie

The nature park covers a large area southwest from Kassel between the places forest-hits a corner, bath Wildungen, bath Zwesten, Jesberg, Haina and Frankenau. The and the Wildunger mountain country are enclosed beside the cellar forest of the Edersee.

Mountains & altitude

The lowest point of the nature park Kellerwald Edersee is at the edge of the Edertals with the local edge of Affoldern in approximately 198 m height; that against the highest place lies on the desert garden (675 M. NN.), with Jeust (585 m), (636 m) and sow cliff (584 m), forms the mountain comb cellar (also high cellar or high cellar forest called) for which.
