The nature park Eichsfeld Hainich Werratal is a nature park in Thuringia. The nature park combines the western and northwest peripheral locations of the of basin between iron oh and holy city into a protected area. Hill chains of the Hainichs as well as the plateaus of the calibration field are characteristic. The total area covers 870 km Within the nature park approximately 70,000 inhabitants live in 106 localities. Within the nature park is the national park Hainich. The nature park was brought 1990 into being.
