Nathaniel Dourif Friedman (* 6 August 1977), admits as Nat, is a programmer, who created 1999 together with Miguel de Icaza the company Ximian. The company was bought 2003 by Novell.
Friedman was from 1999 to 2001 CEO von Ximian. Later David Patrick than external CEO was appointed, after the company had received fifty million dollar venture capital.
Before Ximian Friedman worked on the project GNU ROPE. he got the Bachelor OF Science lent to 1999 by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology both in computer science and in mathematics.
At present Friedman is the vice-president of the Linux Desktop department with Novell.
