The mouse thorn plants (Ruscaceae) educate a family of the bloom plants (Liliopsida) and among the higher Asparagales are ranked.

Systematics

Other families such as Eriospermaceae, kite tree plants (Dracaenaceae) and lily of the valley plants (Convallariaceae) were integrated meanwhile into this family due to molecular-biological investigations. In former times the kinds of this family were placed to the lily plants (Liliaceae).
