Well
- The Quattro Fontane (ital. for four wells) was established at the four corners of the crossing of the roads "via I Settembre 1847 "and "via Cardines ". They were made to 1666 by Innocenzo Mangani, and 1714 of Ignazio Buceti. To the earthquake of 1908 two were only returned by the four wells the original place. The other two wells are today in the Museo regional one.
- The Fontana di Orione (Orionbrunnen) stands on the cathedral place of Messina. The well was created 1547 by Giovanni Angelo Montorsoli. The figures represent Orion, the mythischen city founder of Messina and the four other statues the four rivers Nile, Tiber, Ebro and Camaro.
- The Fontana del Nettuno Neptunbrunnen was created 1557 by the sculptor Giovanni Angelo Montorsoli. The well represents Neptun and to its feet the shapes from the Greek mythology Scylla and Charybdis.
