The museum donation post office and telecommunications was created 1995 in the course of the post office reform of the German Federal Republic. It leads ever a museum for communication in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg and Nuremberg as well as archives for Philatelie in Bonn.

The museums address themselves to a broad public. Their offer covers lectures, guidance, films, Workshops, child workshops and museum celebrations apart from attractive continuous and drawing of a bill also.

Purpose of the donation is the collection, development and representation of the entire development of the transmission of news in the ranges post office and telecommunications.

Basis of the donation

The museum donation post office and telecommunications is a federaldirect donation of public right. Seat of the donation is Bonn. As line organs the Kuratorium and the curator function. Financially the museum donation of the German post office and the German Telekom is carried.
