Multicar is the name for a small and a special transporter, an equipment support and multi-function vehicle, which are manufactured of the Multicar of special vehicles GmbH in walter living. The predecessor model of the first Multicar M 21 (1958), also Diesel ant mentioned, was the Diesel cart DK 3 of 1956, which actually was in the industrial plant Ludwig field developed and with a diesel engine of provided trolleys.

In the year 1920 the establishment of the today's enterprise was as ADE Werke.Multicar is thus the only automark, which remained of the former GDR construction of vehicles.
