Mordecai Ezekiel (* 10. May 1899 in Richmond, Virginia, "† 31 October 1974 in Washington (D.C.)) was an American agrarian economist. Together with G.C. Haas described it starting from 1925 the pig cycle.

Between 1930 and 1947 he worked as an economist in leading positions in the American Ministry Of Agriculture. From 1947 to 1962 worked for the FAO, from 1962 to 1967 for the United States Agency for internationally development.
