Monte David off (* 1956) is an US-American computer programmer. It graduated 1974 to the Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin. It studied furthermore in Harvard used mathematics, it was the specialist area that at that time also computer science contained. He worked on the colleges radio station "WHRB". it graduated to 1978 in Harvard.

David off is best admits for its work for the floating-point number arithmetic routines in the old air BASIC, which he programmed in his time in Harvard. The routines were reused later for Microsoft BASIC.

At Honeywell information of system he worked on Multics. Far stations were tandem of computer, ready of system, and Stratus computer.

Since 2000 he works as an IT-advisor for his own company Alluvial software.
