Montagu Collet Norman, 1st baron Norman, DSO, (* 6 September 1871; "† 4 February 1950), was an important English banker.

World-wide became it admits OF England as a governor of the bank (1920 to 1944).

Under its line in Great Britain the gold standard was given up 1931. It played a substantial role with the establishment of the bank for international clearing payment (BIZ) 1931.
