Mondseer, also admits as box cheese, in Austria from cow's milk is produced. It is similar a semisolid cheese as cathedral cheese or Limburger. Mondseer has an easily sharp flavour and a sweet-sour taste. Maturing lasts two to three months and the fat content amounts to 45%.
