Each kind of business transaction designates mobile Businesses, with which the transaction partners use in the framework of achievement preparation, - agreement or - contribution electronic communication technology (in connection with mobile terminals).

This term was derived from relatives the term electronics of the Business, which became popular into the 1990er-Jahren by a IBM advertising campaign.

Originally electronics Business was called "electronics Commerce in the broader sense", accordingly can be understood mobile Business than "mobile Commerce in the broader sense". Closer differentiation can be undertaken as follows:

The term "Business" contained not only all aspects of the business everyday life (e.g. the support of personnel, customer and business partners) separate commercial (purchase/sales of goods and services). Thus "Business" can contain also free services. On the basis this manual the terms electronics and mobile Business can be distinguished from the terms electronics and mobile Commerce used in each case better. (Source: Buse/Tiwari (2006).
