The milk cuts is a sweet goods product of the manufacturer Ferrero. It consists of two baked brown paste plates, which enclose sand yield-like a bright milk preparation. The product was introduced 1978 as children of milk cuts on the German market, for some time without the label name of children does.
Cuts is heavy 28 gram. It consists butter pure fat, Volleipulver, wheat bran, with low fat cocoa, emulsifying agents (mono and Diglyceride of food fatty acids) of full milk (40%), vegetable oils, sugar, Weizenmehl, skimmed milk powder, honey (5%), the baking rubbing means baking powder (Glucono delta lacton, Natriumbicarbonat, Kaliumtartrat) and ammonium carbonate as well as wheat protein, salt, natural flavours and Vanillin.

The manufacturer of the milk cuts arouses the impression in Werbekampagnen that this product is health-promoting and an alternative to tracing bread. The straight target group of children takes however on the average anyway too much sugar and fat to itself. Sugar tastes on the one hand sweet, on the other hand one it than taste amplifier works. Something similar applies to fat: fat food tastes better and more intensive, since fat functions as carrier of taste materials. The milk cuts relies on these effects. It contains more fats and sugars than milk, has thus with "healthy nutrition "little to do and is rather among the calorie bombs to be ranked.
