Middle class trusts are of small and middle enterprises closed trusts, which serve the improvement of the competitive ability of the participating enterprises, e.g. Agreements and resolutions over the common purchase of goods. It may come however to no reference obligation for the enterprises involved.

After the German law against restraints of trade middle class trusts can be exempted from a prohibition.
