Michel Odent (* 1930) is a physician and birth aid and important advocate of a natural relieving.

Odent, a pupil of the pioneer of the gentle birth Leboyer, was a Chefarzt of the relieving department of the district hospital of Pithiviers, before he created the research council Primal Health Research Centre in London.
