Michael Robertson (* 1968) is an US-American entrepreneur.

Robertson is founder and director/conductor of the enterprise Linspire, Inc. (before times Lindows, Inc.), which the Linux distribution Linspire (before times Lindows) manufactures and drives out. Robertson was often quoted in the past before court, since Microsoft sees an author injury in the name of its product Windows. Finally the complaint was rejected by Microsoft and Linspire was allowed to keep the name. Afterwards both were suitable out of court. Microsoft was to be paid to ready 20 millions US-$ at Lindows, so that Lindows is renamed. Since Lindows Linspire is called.
