Messmer is a mark German of a dte trading venture from Seevetal.

The enterprise in a colonial goods shop, which was created on 21 September 1852 by Eduard Messmer in Baden-Baden, has its origin. Messmer became early the yard supplier of William of Prussia and could open a branch in Frankfurt/Main to 1886, which by its son Otto was led.

In the year 1990 the company became Messmer of the Ostfriesi dte society Laurens Spethmann GmbH & CO. Kg, one of the important German dte trading ventures from Seevetal, taken over. The today's assortment of the mark Messmer covers 46 tea places or dte mixtures, which are driven out both loosely and into the 1926 by the Dresden engineer Adolf Rambold (company Teekanne developed) double chamber dte bags.

The dte mark existed since 1886, 1936 was announced a patent on the Teebeutel.
