When Meisan (jap. or Meibutsu become in Japan traditional handicraft products and food designation, which are considered as regional specialities. Each region in Japan has its own Meisan, which are sold in the shops for Reiseandenken Omiyage.

With the food Meisan are above all Senbei (Reiscracker), sweets with Anko (bean paste), inserted radish and other vegetables (tsukemono as well as fish products in many local variants.
