The Premacy is a small Minivan of the car manufacturer Mazda. The first generation of the Premacy, which is called CP internally, was built in Japan and exported to Asia and Europe. The automobile was offered in some asiatic countries (inclusive Japan) as Ford Ixion or Ford MAV. The second generation is offered since 2005 as Mazda5, called in Japan it further Premacy. Up to 31. World-wide 285,258 Premacys were sold to March 2005 since edition.

The first generation of the Premacy was a 2-Sitzreihen-Fahrzeug for 5 passengers. With the Mazda5 a third seat row can be added, it offers then up to 7 passengers place. Both are real Vans, with flat soil and herausnehmbaren seat rows (second and/or and third).

The Premacy uses the Mazda CP platform. It was available only with front wheel drive. Later the Mazda Premacy was also than Active 7 available. This version had 7 seats. The opponents of the Premacy are the OPEL Zafira or VOLKSWAGEN gulf plus.

The platform brother of the Premacy is Ford C-max. They have the same basis, which first Ford focus and Mazda 323Fgedient has.

The Premacy appeared originally in the year 1998 in Deutschland.2001 appeared the Facelift.Es gave the following changes:
