The passenger car model Mazda 929 was the flagship of the car manufacturer Mazda.

End of the 70's catch it with the model LA 4V and combination COMPANY 4 V on. As this first with the designation 929 L in Germany gave it was sold it as sedan and as combination with only 2.0 litres of carburetors capacity and 90 HP. 1982 came then a again conceived notchback sedan on the market, the Mazda 929 type HB no longer in such a way into baroque form like the LA V. it had however unfortunately also only 2.0 litres the carburetor engine with 90 HP. Beside the sedan 929 Coupe in the program one took, likewise with the engine of the sedan. The combination was built invariably until 1986. 1984 were prepared new those to HB row, smaller changes of body, but most important 2 new motorizing once a 2.0 litre of Vegasermotor with now 101 HP and better run culture and a 2,0i a splash with 120 HP. The Coupe got also smaller body retouchings.

In April 1987 it was then so far, Mazda presents the flagship, a completely again revised large sedan with 4,88 m length and 1.75 m broad: The Mazda 929 HC. The sales of the Coupes was stopped. To motorizing 3 new engines with multi-valve technology to the employment 2,0i a splash with 115 HP (LX) came 2,2i a splash with 136 HP (GLX) 3,0i V6 a splash with 190 HP (GLX)

The 2,2i and the 3,0i got February 1988 a Kat, it had then only 2,2i 115 HP and the 3,0i 170 HP. The LX was taken then from the Program, it anyway hardly played a role on the automarket. In October 1989 the engines were again revised, the 2,2i had then 128 HP and the 3,0i V6 167 HP. Until 1992 became the 929 in Germany sold, then for Germany of the Xedos 9 as Mazda 929-Nachfolger auserkohren, in Japan, the USA, Australia was sold until 1998 a again revised 3,0i sedan with 205 HP, the 929 hp. The equipment was, as sumptuous with Japanese vehicles usually. The equipment of the Mazda 929 3,0i V6: Servo, electronic mechanism, ABS, Econometer, along-steering De-Dion rear axle, four disc brakes and numerous check lamps for engine, belt ventilated electrical mirrors, ZV, E-window lifter, E-Glasschiebedach, Tempomat, electronic one from the inside and whether a lamp burned through in the back.
