Max Brose (* 4 January 1884 in "† 11 April 1968 in Coburg) was a buyer and Industrieller. It completed teachings to the buyer and opened after its training 1908 first in Berlin a trading firm for automobile accessories and airplane material.

After the First World War it created 1919 together with the chemist Ernst in Coburg the company Metallwerk max of Brose & CO. in particular to the production of metal goods for motor vehicles. 1928 it began the development and the production of window lifters for automobiles, at 1936 production to the 20-litre unit can and in the Second World War to fuzes and air defense projectiles was changed over.
