The mark national

Of Matsushita for household appliances and industrial's applications and was the first label name that is national the electrical company of Konosuke Matsushita used, in order to sell its battery-operated bicycle lamps, whereby one hoped that they were used in the whole nation Japan. It was possibly the first well-known mark of Japanese electronics.

In former times the Premiummarke of most Matsushita products including audio and video technology was national and after the world-wide success of the mark Panasonic also in the combination "national Panasonic" was used.

After 1980 Matsushita used the mark national in Europe no more and sold audiovisual products only under the marks Panasonic and Technics. Perhaps for copyright reasons used Matsushita the name national in North America exclusively for some clearly imported products, like this very day Japanese rice digesters in US American

Is national in Asia as a mark manufacturer of household appliances, as rice digesters and fans, well-known. 2004 were replaced also in Asia this mark (usually by Panasonic), since it had come repeated to problems with other companies on the world market, which used "national" in their name. Also Matsushitas desire for concentration on the mark Panasonic with their larger Bekanntheitsgrad played a role with the decision.

Because of their historical meaning and popularity in Japan the mark for non-audiovisual products, household devices, is particularly used there far "national". Conditions: 2005.

National - bicycles were exported as Panasonic into the USA. The mark was well-known for qualitatively high-quality bicycles at relatively a favourable price, which was result of high automation of the manufacturing and from it resultiernden small labor costs.
