Maternity benefit are financial achievements of the legal health insurance, which are paid in Germany pregnant women mothers during their maternity protection, if they have requirement on sickpay. At present will maximally 13 euro per day granted, the difference to the income must by the employer be carried. The laws are in "§"§ 13, 14 MuSchG (law protecting working mothers) as well as "§ 200 RVO (Reich Insurance Code).
