Mark transfer strategy describes the transmission of an existing label name and the associated associations on another, new product.

The new product profits by from the existing image while the mark remains attractive by extension of their product range.

As example one could attach the following image transmissions:

• The quality and elegance of the Hugo Boss mode (by license) on smells and care series under the name Boss.
• The liberty and the adventure of the Camel cigarettes on the Adventure and casual clothes of Camel mode.
