The Gastwirtin Marianne Meier (* 3. June 1950 in Sarstedt; "† 17 September 1996 in Luebeck) shot to 6. March 1981 in the court room of the regional court in Luebeck the butcher Klaus Grabowski, to which the murder of her daughter Anna was put to the load.

Anna was the youngest daughter of the alone educating woman. It had still two further older sisters, who had been released briefly in each case after the birth for adoption. Also Anna should be released for adoption, but this denied Marianne brook Meier up to the conclusion. Klaus Grabowski had himself voluntarily kastrieren to leave, after he had already passed two times against children, however with hormones was then treated.

Marianne brook Meier smuggled a weapon on the third day of the hearing into the court room and shot before beginning of negotiation eight times on the accused.

This case of self law released a large medium echo in the Federal Republic of Germany at that time and in the public was controversially discussed; a majority of the population showed understanding for the act, other condemned it than not compatible with the right nationalness.

Marianne brook Meier had to answer for itself starting from 2 November 1982 before court and became to 2. March 1983 of the court of assizes chamber of the regional court Luebeck because of homicide and bad possession of arms to six years detention condemns.

1985 became it from the detention to dismiss prematurely and pulled abroad - first to Nigeria, then to Sicilies. In Palermo she worked die-accompanying in a Hospiz.

1996 turned it, incurably at cancer gotten sick, for the last months of its life back to Germany and died on 17 September 1996.
