The mains connection contract is in the energy industry a contract between the connection taker and the network carrier. The connection taker is the owner of an object (e.g. a house and/or a property) that to the net of the network carrier is attached.
The mains connection contract contains among other things the address of the connection point, the property border, the voltage level, the property use (right of access) and the mains connection capacity. For the mains connection capacity by the connection taker a construction costs subsidy is usually paid. The mains connection capacity is thereby the electrical achievement, which the network carrier at the connection reproaches. It determines among other things the size of the safety device.
The mains connection contract does not regulate the supply of the connection taker with river, for this is a separate current supply contract with a current dealer (supplier) to be locked.
