Mahon is the traditional seeing Niger of unpasteurisierter hard cheese from cow's milk. It is produced on the Baleareninsel Menorca. The hard orange crust has the impressions of the cheese cloth and feels greasily. The mass is in-wound, pressed into the cheese cloth and in-let for some days. That gives it the typical Kopfkissenfrom. It is sold in different Reifegraden. Normally it is young sold, if its consistency is softly and the flavour fruchtig and sweet. In this stage one should use it during zenh days.
