The Magna natural stone GmbH is the largest natural stone work in Germany with seat into Loit in Saxonia-Anhalt. The enterprise is a pure supplier for stone-cutters and manufactures large boards, e.g. for kitchens, as well as soil and facade panels from dressed stone. Blocks from granite, Gneis, Migmatit, Spektrolith, Norit, Gabbro, basalt, Foide and sandstone are processed. 1993 were taken up with 10 persons the enterprise. In the meantime here 120 humans work.

Manufacturing method

The stone blocks from all world are transported on the central land channel up to the port waste dump life and reloaded there for the last kilometers on heavy transporters. From the angeliferten stone blocks raw boards, also, are called Unmasstafeln cut with steel and gates. After the Gatterung can the most diverse natural stone surfaces, like being polished, polished or be flamed, produced. Tiles and Bodenplaten are cut with multi-sheet saws vollautomatsch from blocks and their surfaces with similar procedures as the Unmasstafeln are worked on.

Power supply and recycling

A characteristic of the work the self-supply of energy. Three block combined heat and power station units provide for the electricity and the warmth necessary for resounding. The water necessary for production is filtered and used again and again, since no chemicals are used. Only innocuous abrasive dust is removed in filtering units and sold partially as mineral fertilizer.
