The company MACK Rides GmbH & CO kg is an exempt private company in the Waldkirch of Baden with Freiburg and one the market leader in the development and production of recreational park attractions. Roland Mack, member of the family of the firm founder, is the acting partners European park in Rust with Freiburg, the largest recreational park of Germany.

History

The company was created 1780 by Paul Mack and dedicated themselves first to the building of driving cars and Postkutschen. After 1880 a car to organ transport were built began the company the consistent structure and the advancement of the building of cars for Schausteller and circus entrepreneurs. 1920 entered the company Mack into the building of roundabouts for fairs. 1921 were finished the first wood roller coaster of the company, 1936 followed the first gasoline course and 1951 the first Bobbahn from wood. Starting from 1952 the paragraph of the company increased into the USA strongly. In the year 1957 the prototype of the "wild mouse" developed, today a well-known roller coaster form on fairs and people celebrations. The new development at that time was however contrary to the today's steel models likewise still from wood.

1975 took place the opening of the European park in Rust by Franz Mack. In the meantime the European park is the largest recreational park of Germany. Today MACK is one of the prominent enterprises in the range recreational park attractions and for example the water roller coaster Atlantica SuperSplash in the European park built.
