Ludwig Andreas Buchner (* 23. July 1813 in Munich; "† 23 October 1897 ebenda) was a German physician and Pharmakologe.

Biography

Ludwig Andreas Buchner was the son of the Johann Andreas Buchner, which likewise admits as Pharmakologe became. To its school attendance in Munich Bucher went to the study to the universities into pouring and into Paris. it was attained a doctorate to 1839 in the subject philosophy, 1842 followed the graduation in the medicine. 1847 received an extraordinary Professur for physiological and pathological chemistry in Munich to Buchner, 1852 occupied it the chair for pharmacy and toxicology at the same university.

Since 1846 Buchner was extraordinary and since 1849 tidy member of the royal bairischen Academy of Sciences. He was besides publisher of the magazine created by its father "repertory for the Pharmacie "from 1852 to 1876 and published "the Commentar to the Pharmacopoea Germanica "in Munich 1872, a work with German translation of the discussed work. In addition it was an author for the general German biography, where it described also further Pharmakologen beside the article to its father.
