Ludwig Adamovich sen. (* 30 April 1890 in Esseg (today Osijek, Croatia); "† 23 September 1955 in Vienna) was as a lawyer a university professor in Prague, Graz and Vienna.

1938 he was Minister of Justice in the last Federal Government (cabinet Schuschnigg IV) before the invasion of Hitler Germany in Austria, from 1945 to 1947 rector of the University of Vienna and from 1946 to 1955 president of the Austrian constitutional court yard.

His son Ludwig Adamovich June. was likewise president of the constitutional court yard.
