The Lincoln LS is the sport sedan of the luxury mark Lincoln belonging to the company Ford. The Lincoln LS was brought to 2000 for model year on the market and replaced 2002 the Continental as Lincoln's medium sized sedan. The LS was since long time the first Lincoln with a manual gear shift.

The LS divides the Ford-DEW98-Plattform with the Jaguar S-type, which likewise for model year 2000 on the market came. The LS-V8 uses likewise the 4-Liter aluminum Jaguar AJ V8 engine.

For model years from 2000 to 2005 the LS with V6 or V8-Motor was available. For 2006 the V6-Motor was however no longer available, since it is the last year, in which the LS is produced.
