Leadership becomes increasingly popular as term in management discussions in the last years. Often Leadership is used simply as synonym for guidance. Thus one becomes however not fair the meaning content of the term.
The definition suggested here is to specify therefore conceptual contents of Leadership:
Leadership is the sum practiced behavior, which leads to it,
- to lead a large organization (a complex system) purposefully and holistic development durable during a process to their maximum output,
- to dare in addition in the interest of the future ability of the organization fundamental change,
- to enable and over resistances away move humans for it,
- to introduce the transformation and transformation of the organization necessary for it and advance with consideration of all elements of the organization (strategy, culture, process, structure, guidance, information and communication, achievement and results) consistently,
- to stimulate humans in the organization mentally and emotional for a vision of the future and to cause a solidarity over all hierarchy levels away.
Leadership bases on fundamental, personal and charakterlichen characteristics. The implementation of Leadership can succeed only with a team and with an adequate support architecture.
Leadership and management differ in their target, Zielerreichung, the execution and the results. Leadership leads across a vision across communication, sense switching and co-operation by motivation, enthusiasm and the fulfilment of needs, to changes, innovation and creative solutions.
