1998 came with the lawyer SHOT LINE a new form of the legal advice into the market. Advice-looking for were connected Germany far by an increase in value number, to at the end of of 2005 with the preselection "0190", since 2006 beginning with "0900" directly with an attorney.

It lasted not too for a long time and the press took care of the topic. The term lawyer SHOT LINE was coined/shaped sometime in one of the first press reports and transferred then by the other media.

The lawyer SHOT LINE was fought from the beginning against the opponents of the telephone legal advice. The operators competition-legally on omission taken up and regularly went the processes also lost. In opinion of the courts the enterprise of such a lawyer SHOT LINE collided with the anwaltlichen occupation right.

In the autumn the Federal High Court confirmed 2002 in two judgements that the legal advice was permissible via increase in value number by telephone.

From the initiators of the yearly 1998 today only Justitia Direct is in the market. The other Hotlines came only to the positive judgements of the BGH into this market segment.
