Kurt Furgler (* 24. June 1924 in pc. Gallen), of (Valens), be a Swiss politician (CVP).

1955 to 1971 belonged to Furgler the national council. On 8 December 1971 he was selected into the Upper House of Parliament. On 31 December 1986 it withdrew. During its term of office it managed the following Departementen:

• 1972-1978: Law and police section
• 1979-1982: Swiss federal law and police section
• 1983-1986: Swiss federal national economy section

He was Federal President in the years 1977, 1981 and 1985 and vice-president in the years 1976, 1980 and 1984.

Admits became it in particular by the Lex Furgler, a law, which limited the real estate acquisition by foreigners.

Furgler is member in the club OF Rome and honour member of the international olympic committee.
