Krauss Maffei way man (KMW) is a German arms enterprise, which develops and drives with priority military wheel out and tracked vehicles and engineering equipment. Some the vehicles, which are produced by KMW are: ATF Dingo, Fennek, Mungo, GTK Boxer, Terrier, MARS, self-propelled howitzer 2000, leopard 2, Puma (armored infantry vehicle).

Krauss Maffei way man developed 1999 as union of the Munich company Krauss Maffei and the company Wegmann made of Kassel. Since then the KMW on ordering the battle tanks is world-wide up to artillery or air defense leading. The company headquarters is in Munich. Subsidiary companies are active in among other things electronic military technology.

Siemens holds a 49%igen portion of KMW, the remaining 51% of the shares still lies at the entrepreneur family way man. One speculates that Siemens could bring its block of shares into a joint undertaking with EADS, around a European arms company to schmieden.
