History

The company was created 1947 in Vienna, Atzgersdorf by the brothers Erich and Oskar small. The product range was aligned mainly to the Austrian market, models of the was at that time hardly available from the dominating the market model course producers of Germany. A further goal was to make the model railway affordable by economical production for everyone. Also the competitors inland, e.g. Liliput, were more expensive. The products of the company Kleinbahn also actually found a so large spreading that the name became "Kleinbahn" in Austria a generic term for model railways of the size H0.
