Klaus von Raussendorff (* 1936) is a German former diplomat and feeler gauge.

Life

Klaus von Raussendorff born as a son one with Krupp in meals employed attorneys and buildup in civil conditions. After the school time it studied Berlin at the free university, where it had first contact to West-Berliner communist groups.

1957 were launched by Raussendorff feeler gauge of the foreign intelligence service of the Ministry for public security (MfS) of the GDR (pseudonym "Brede") and purposefully in the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.

1961-1990 he was diplomat of the FRG, deputy director/conductor of the constant agency of the FRG last with the UNESCO in Paris, and speaking Legationsrat. At the same time he was lieutenant colonel in the Ministry for public security (MfS) of the GDR.

In the spring 1990 it was unmasked and arrested, after a defector - his earlier MfS - had betrayed it. 1991 he was condemned because of Landesverrat by the OLG Duesseldorf to a detention by six years, which he served in the JVA Willich, last since 1993 as with an occupation as scientific coworkers at the chair for sociology (Professor Bernd Hamm) at the university Trier. After its premature release from custody 1994 he worked further on the University of Trier up to the Verrentung 1999. Since that time it works sideline as a free journalist in particular for communist magazines.

By Raussendorff is married and has three children.

Political activity

• 1995-1998 joint founders and co-ordinator of the initiative group scout of the peace demand right in the society for legal and humanitarian support registered association (GRH). Since 1998 speakers of this initiative group.
• Publisher of the anti-imperialistic correspondence
• Cooperation with international Yugoslavia solidarity and in the committee Free Slobo, which uses itself for the release of Slobodan Milo"ševic.
• Cooperation in the international committee for the protection of the Palestinian people
• Joint founder of the German section of the international campaign for the release of Marwan Barghouti and all Palestinian political prisoner
• Member in the federal committee peace advice
