Klaus Christian (* 21 August 1936 in Schwedt/or) is a German entrepreneur of the IT-industry.

It began its vocational career after conclusion of a Technical High School as a coworker IBM Germany 1955. There it was among other things active as system designers. In October 1969 it made itself with the establishment EDP STUDIO PLOENZKE independent. The company developed under its management to one of the prominent German IT-consulting firms. 1992 were finally converted the company into a corporation (PLOENZKE AG). Starting from 1995 to 1999 sold its enterprise, which firmierte now as CSC Ploenzke AG, gradually to the American CSC computer Sciences corporation.

After conclusion of sale of his company Klaus gave up also the executive committee presidency of the CSC Ploenzke AG and created the Ploenzke getting thing AG, in order to be available as venture Capital giver of the German IT-industry further. 2002 it initiated the network and 2003 the Pluralis AG.

For its achievements with the structure of the German IT-industry and his commitment for young enterprise founders he received the Distinguished Service Cross 1 on 29 September 2003. Class of the earnings/service medal of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Always its working of success was not crowned. Thus the sudden retreat of its commitment led with the Bochumer AIS GmbH to their insolvency. Its attempt in the year 2003 the enterprises alego AG and eracon AG under the name Ploenzke & company AG at the market to platzieren was stopped by CSC Ploenzke AG by provisional order. The planned fusion of the two enterprises never came off, it arose separately under the name Pluralis Mainz and Pluralis Wiesbaden. The participation in both enterprises gave Klaus up C gradually. The Pluralis Wiesbaden AG was sold to Swiss IMPAQ group, while Pluralis Mainz was successfully taken over by the management and a further investor.

Already its first appearing as an investor (1999) in the enterprise COM: ON GmbH gave nothing good to the IT-enterprise and their coworkers. Within fewer months the conversion broke in over over 50%. It turned its sales methods (service) in a market (products), unknown for him, with iron broom (the founder and managing director became among other things to dismiss) instead of with fine feeling to establish. Within further fewer months the COM disappeared: ON GmbH, those first and best (of the byte magazine the USA COM got 1996: ON an honor for the best Unified Messaging system the byte Award '96.) Unified Messaging system had world-wide developed, from the IT-image plane, and/or by Klaus C. inclusive subsidiary company "was smashed".

Most badly however its trip met it into the hotel industry. The large-scale project five-stars of the luxury hotel SA Talaila in haven (Mallorca) ended after a two digit million-investment in a building ruin, which stands since the year 2000 to the sales.
