The king & a farmer AG (KBA) is an enterprise, which manufactures printing machines. It was created by Friedrich king and Andreas Friedrich farmer in peppering castle in the year 1817. This enterprise is beside MAN Roland printing machines AG and the Heidelberger printing machines AG of one the internationally largest printing machine manufacturer.

End of 2005 employed those king & farmer AG of 7,962 employees world-wide at 9 locations and obtained 2005 a conversion of 1,621 billion euro.
